aranasi is known as a very important pilgrimage place for Hindus for long period. It is also known as Kashi and Benares. Varanasi is also an oldest living city in the World.

There is a belief in Hindus that who dies in the land of Varanasi will get salvation because his soul will go to heaven and will be free from the cycle of birth and death. It is also said that Ganges in Varanasi has the power to wash away the sin of humans. It flows through this city which makes the city even more spiritual for Hindus.
