How did Gandhi Die?

Gandhi was killed by Nathurum Godse, an extremist. Nathurum Godse shot Gandhi with a Beretta semi-automatic pistol 3 times. He did not try to escape and later admitted to killing Gandhi. He was put on trial and was hanged as his punishment. Gandhi's last words were, "He Ram" or "Oh God".
